The aluminium allow samples were
received from Gus SIDLA of the TSB
as being cut from aluminium alloy
coupons supplied for tests at CANMET
by Larry FOGG of the Boeing Company.
The samples are bare on one side and
painted on the other, except for the
AA7075 sample, which is bare on both
sides. The Mylar and Tedlar
samples were cut by me from blankets
that I seized from a Swissair MD-11
aircraft while undergoing a ‘D’
check in Zurich.
Your assistance in this matter is
most appreciated.
